Motorcycle Safety Gears

Safety Gears are used to protect the user from injuries and other hazards. Having a motorcycle, it must consider having the complete gears, from head to toe. It is advised from the government official to have these especially the helmet.

Helmet considered as the important safety gear, it protects the head, eyes and face. As we know our head consists of brain, eyes, nose and mouth, if it's damaged, what will happen, especially the brain, how our body can function if it got damaged.

Jacket or Safety jackets considered as one of the safety gears, some of the jacket has armor and reflector designs. It is used for long rides and at night, it helps the other drivers to see the rider on the road.

Gloves are designed for hands, a protection from cold and heat weather. Also, it helps the user to grip the handle properly. Google uses to protect the eyes from flying insects and objects. It is typically used if the rider wearing a half face helmet.

Pants and chaps also considered as one of the safety gears, kind of safety clothes, in motorcycle, it's designed to protect the knee from injuries and cuts. It is advisable to use or wear pants than shorts.

Boots and safety shoes, wearing proper shoes can prevent foot injuries, the effect of accidents.

Earplug helps the rider to lessen the noise that he received from the different vehicles on the road and from excessive air.

Safety vest, it makes the motorist to be seen and visible by others like trucks, car, etc. It is designed with reflective and bright colors, e.g. orange and yellow.

Chest armor, knee and elbow guards are protective equipments which protect specific part of the body. They are used as individual, if the jacket and pants has no guards included, chest, knee and elbow guards can be used.

Preventing danger from Electric devices

Electricity may cause danger to us especially if we don’t know how to manage and encounter them. It may cause serious injuries and even to be severe. But, there are many ways to prevent risk and also safety prevention, whether at home or on the job.

At home, first thing need to do is learn about electricity, how it occurs and works. Knowledge is one key to take you away from dangers, with this knowledge it can help to make you educated. Also in terms of emergency these knowledge may used.

Be familiar with your appliances, the voltage needed, how to handle it and use it on how they functions. Installing fault circuit interrupter is effective in reducing shocks produce by the electricity. It also shuts off the current runs in wrong paths. Covering the sockets and outlets can avoid electric shocks especially for the family who has kids who like in to put their finger in a hole.

Store or place the electric devices away from the water, it can produce electric shocks and get damaged. If the parts of the appliances get damaged, replace it or repair it especially the part that produces sparks and small amount of shocks, damaged cords, and short circuiting.

If you using it for job always turn the power off before and after using the power tool. Sometimes we forgotten that the tool we using is in live position, in unnecessary circumstances we used it, not knowing that it is on and brings us in severe condition.

One way to protect ourselves from electric shocks is wearing a protective gear that can’t conduct electricity such safety shoes that can buy in the Philippines and gloves. Placing a rubber mat around the workplace can prevent electric shocks.

Always inspect the power tools before and after using it. Noted if this tools is in good condition or not and take away the tools from wet place or water. Also, take them in right place to avoid the wrong picking part of the tools especially with a sharp tip. Have you seen any safety signs around your place, at street, while you are eating or waiting for a bus? What are the purposes of these signs?

Safety signs categorize by five; fire, mandatory, information, prohibited and warning, each of this sign has its worth in our daily lives, without all the safety signs, no one will warning us about the danger in our place. All the safety signs must be near on the place or product where easily be seen.

Fire safety signage, how it can help you? These safety signs can help you to know where the fire extinguisher is. In time of emergency, it easy to catch up the fire eliminator once it is needed.

Mandatory safety signage will allow you to use specific clothing such as safety jackets. It can help one employee to know what safety clothes needed in his work and workplace. This safety signs want to prevent any injuries while working. As we know, there always an unexpected hazard that we may encounter in unexpected time, to lessen the hurts and injuries the safety signs must be follow, to take you away from accidents.

Information signage, from the root word “inform” its giving you guide or knowledge. It is typically found at the street. If you found yourself lost, these information signs will help and guide you to find your way home. Also, it makes you a good citizen of your country by following all the signs.

Prohibited signage, it inform us what is forbidden in that place. It is like do and don’t do this. It is also a reminder to avoid accidents especially starting a fire. Like in a gasoline station, if you notice there is safety signs posted, since it is a gasoline station, it’s prone in any fire threats.

Lastly, warning signage, it is typically seen on a product. It advice you what is the possible danger in using that product. Also, it is seen in the workplace informing where are danger places and what are the danger waiting for you. It is good to follow all the safety signs, not also in saving you but also in preventing you from accidents.
